Each user must agree to our acceptable
uses and terms before using the bulletin board. By using our bulletin
board you agree to our acceptable uses and terms described below. All
information and content posted to the bulletin board becomes the property of canoecountry.com.

being enabled. Please make certain "cookies" are allowed for the
following two domains; canoecountry.com and network54.com. Do not send username and/or password via email,
problems with logging in should be directed to our bulletin board host
at Network54.com. We do not
have access to username or password data.

Bulletin Board Information
This forum was established to inform
and facilitate discussion about the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in
northeastern Minnesota and the Quetico Park in Ontario, Canada. This
forum was created and published October 26th, 1998 as a NON-COMMERCIAL
RESOURCE. We do not allow users to post advertisements on the bulletin
board or the collecting of names and e-mail addresses for
advertisements. Posts that contain irrelevant information to the theme
of this bulletin board can and may be removed after a complaint has
been made.
You must
include the subject, time and post date and who posted the message.
Complaining or negative posts will also
be removed without notice. Users of the BWCA and Quetico Park Bulletin
Boards are seeking quality information that is relevant to the area.
Personal posts to another user are meant for private email discussions
and are inappropriate to be posted on the bulletin board. Personal
posts will be removed without notice. All bulletin board posts use
space on a server and our space is limited. Please use private email
responses to existing posts if your post is not information that
another bulletin board user would find useful.
Commercial posting is prohibited and
will be removed
We strive to keep our forum free from
the posting of advertising or commercial content. If you feel there is a
post or posts that violates our policies please call Chad Jones at

post?

number one complaint on most bulletin boards!
A post consisting of advice of a
product or service will be evaluated on a individual basis if there is
a complaint. CanoeCountry.com realizes that there is a fine line
between a poster recommending a service or product within a story or
event recount on the bulletin board and a post that is mainly
promoting a service or product. Any post that has no other content, a post that has the sole intent to promote a commercial service or
product, a post using a commercial domain in the subject field, will be removed and the poster may be banned from using our
resources in the future.
CanoeCountry.com suggests that a post
that contains commercial information be emailed back to the requester
in a private email. Since accidents and misunderstandings can happen
were making these policies readily available for all users. A poster
that violates our acceptable uses and terms of service will be advised
of such violation. If a second violation occurs the user will be
banned until further notice.

Any user that uses fowl, vulgar or
inappropriate words or posting of inappropriate content will be
immediately banned from using our resources. There is no excuse for
this activity. Many children and families use our resources. Please

with the user name, subject and date of the post. We will cooperate fully with any law enforcement investigation.You are entirely liable for all
activities conducted through your posting. Listed below are some,
though not all, violations which may result in removing a post,
banning a poster and contacting law enforcement officials. You agree
not to do any of the following actions while using the BWCA

- 1. Harass, threaten, embarrass or
cause distress or discomfort upon another BWCA and Quetico Park
Bulletin Board participant, user, or other individual or entity.
- 2. Transmit via the BWCA and Quetico
Park Bulletin Boards any information, data, computer viruses, text,
files, links, software, or other materials ("Content")
that BWCA and Quetico Park Bulletin Board considers to be unlawful,
harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar,
obscene, hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
- 3. Impersonate any BWCA and Quetico
Park Bulletin Board member or any person, including but not limited
to, a BWCA and Quetico Park Bulletin Board official, forum leader,
guide or host.
- 4. Disrupt the normal flow of dialogue
on the BWCA and Quetico Park Bulletin Board or otherwise act in a
manner that negatively affects other participants.
- 5. Post or transmit any unsolicited
advertising, promotional materials, or any other forms of
solicitation on the BWCA and Quetico Park Bulletin Board.
- 6. Intentionally or unintentionally
violate any applicable local, state, national or international law,
including but not limited to any regulations having the force of law
while using or accessing BWCA and Quetico Park Bulletin Board or in
connection with your use BWCA and Quetico Park Bulletin Board in any
manner.
